I have been associated with Boys & Girls Clubs for more than 11 years. During my eight years in a local Club I had the pleasure of seeing lives changing right in front of me.
Many of these kids had their own struggles...for example, there was the little boy who had to wear his mom's pink house slippers because their family couldn't afford the "luxury" of proper shoes. And the countless stories of young kids - my own kids' ages - who lived without electricity, clothing, gas and food.
I've learned I can't save them all, but together we can make a significant difference in one life...which multiplies to many. That is why I still work day to day raising money for our national organization that provides programming and support to local Clubs. Let's be champions and give today!
